Meet the Founder
Hello everyone my name is Glenn Shironaka, and I’m the founder of Castle Core E.I. I started this coaching practice with one purpose in mind: to help emerging leaders grow into confident, capable, emotionally intelligent versions of themselves.
I served six years on Active Duty in the U.S. Army and continue to serve in the California National Guard. The military gave me more than discipline and structure, it taught me what leadership really looks like. I learned how to guide people through pressure, how to build trust, and how to create environments where teams can perform at their best.
To deepen that foundation, I earned my M.A. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and became a certified EQ‑i 2.0 practitioner. These tools allow me to help leaders understand themselves, strengthen their emotional intelligence, and build the skills needed to create strong, long‑lasting teams.
My mission is simple:
Equip emerging leaders with the emotional intelligence and practical leadership skills they need to succeed in their careers, their communities, and their lives.

Our mission extends especially to emerging leaders: students, early‑career professionals, and individuals stepping into new roles where confidence, communication, and self‑awareness matter most. We equip them with practical emotional intelligence skills that accelerate their growth, strengthen their leadership presence, and prepare them to navigate the challenges of modern work and life.
